|Onion, chopped||390 g||13 oz|
|Canned Beans*, drained and rinsed||1.88 L||7 1/2 cups|
|Cilantro, chopped||125 mL||1/2 cup|
|Water||500 mL||2 cups|

|Salt and Pepper|
|1. Sauté onion in vegetable oil over medium heat until tender but not brown.|
|2. Add beans, cilantro, water, salsa and V8 juice. 3. Bring to boil and then reduce heat to simmer stirring occasionally.|
